BEYOND THE STAGE
Daniel Marzoa is a Cuban American performer born and raised in Miami, where his love for music was first nurtured at home. His grandmother introduced him to the romance of classic Cuban boleros, while his father shared his passion for the great songs of the American songbook and Broadway. Growing up between these two musical worlds shaped Daniel’s artistic voice, inspiring a style that celebrates both his Cuban roots and the timeless tradition of American standards.
The Journey
Daniel began his professional journey as a backup singer for Cristian Castro, launching a career that would take him to prestigious stages including the Latin Billboard Showcase and the Latin Grammy Street Party, as well as celebrated New York venues like The Metropolitan Room and Don’t Tell Mama.
Television audiences first discovered Daniel as a finalist on Fame, where he worked alongside renowned choreographer Debbie Allen. He later appeared on Va Por Ti, impressing judges Ricky Martin and Laura Pausini.
Daniel also served as the lead singer and master of ceremonies for the cabaret spectacle C’est Rouge at the Faena Theater, captivating audiences during a year long residency with a sultry blend of Latin music, jazz, and theatrical flair choreographed by Bianca Li. In 2024, he expanded his artistic repertoire with his acting debut as Danny Zuko in the sold out production of Grease at the Seminole Theatre.
Today, Daniel’s performances celebrate the music that shaped him, bridging cultures, generations, and styles through songs that continue to resonate across time.
